And while this site, TheSocialRev.com, is but a small jewel in all the wealth of the internet, it is a rare jewel indeed. Indeed, boards are very common, with every marginal subject having at least one board dedicated to it, most likely more. Yet there is still a way to be revolutionary as a board.
The Social Revolution doesn't strife to please a select small group of people. It is not a oppressive board, with tight laws that are enforced day and night by humorless and strict moderators. It is not like GameFAQs, where the desire to run a smooth board for each game takes away the most important element of every board; the social aspect
The Social Revolution has soul. It offers freedom. It is, above anything else, social. There is no such thing as off-topic posting here. You want to make a topic about the piece of gum you just found under your shoe? Go right ahead. You want to discuss the finer points of jabbing a pencil in our forehead? You are more than welcome. Do you have a question about how to ask out this girl with three heads that's in your class? We can help. Do you need some help with a game, so you won't flip out and kill a herd of sheep? Calm down, and ask here.
All we ask here is that you strife for the social element of this board. Respect the other members. And don't post or link to pr0n. This is a board for members under 18 years of age, as well.
